Frosty days and dragon's breath
Cold winds and struggling sun.
The days are numbered, Winter-esque,
For sweet-scent Spring has sprung.
Away has blown the icy breeze,
Died has the fire's ember.
Green leaves adorn the dancing trees
As summer they remember.
The barren lands of deserts small
Drink deep the welcomed rain.
The birds preach joy in branches tall,
Forgetting Winter's pain.
The mournful dams, once empty ground
Are now replenished, lush.
The air is thick with happy sounds;
Broken is Winter's hush.
A white-grey sky has now been stained
A brilliant shade of blue,
A greener reborn landscape framed
By brown grass, green anew.
These dazzling scents and sounds of cheer
Through my clear head have rung,
And I am glad summer is near.
Sweet spring has surely sprung.

Yeah, the dams over to the tafe are looking really beautiful at the moment, both sides are full... they've already started to evaporate again though
